Tour of Pennsylvania Needs Volunteers!

COME JOIN THE EXCITEMENT! --- VOLUNTEERS NEEDED IN PITTSBURGH

The Tour of Pennsylvania will be wheeling its way from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh starting June 24, 2008. This race spotlights the best young cyclists from around the globe and will feature 2 stages in Pittsburgh –

• June 28 - Stage 5 starts in Ligonier and will finish with a huge party at the SouthSide Works

• June 29 – Stage 6 features a circuit race through the streets of the Golden Triangle.

This event will receive worldwide coverage and will be an incredible opportunity to showcase the Pittsburgh region. It will be up to volunteers to make the most of this remarkable spectacle.

Volunteer opportunities include:

Course Marshals, Traveling Marshals, Stage Crew, Hospitality, Marketing and Public Relations, Foreign Language Interpreter, Security, Driver Support

Please get involved and bring your friends and family to be a part of this amazing event. Volunteer shifts are generally 2 to 3 hours, and volunteers will receive great Tour of PA gear for helping out.
