What: The Greenbrier River Trail Bike Trek is an exciting three-day mountain bike excursion combining unforgettable mountain scenery with unique sights of the Greenbrier River Trail.

Biking Experience: At this event, biking experience ranges from beginner to expert. The necessary equipment is a fat-tire bike and a desire to have a great time!

When: The 2000 trek is scheduled for Friday May 19th to Sunday, may 21st.

Where: The ride starts in Snowshoe, WV

Accommodations: The ALAWV provides all accommodations, transportation, meals, gear truck, refreshments, medical and mechanical support, sag, a group picture and t-shirt.

How Much?: For the low, low minimum sponsorship of $300 (which benefits the American Lung Association), plus a $35 registration fee, you can be a part of this incredible journey. Need more info? Please contact Mike West with all of your questions.

Schedule of Events:

  • Thursday Night - Trekkers stay at the Inn at Snowshoe.
  • Friday - We ride to Marlinton where we enjoy dinner at the River Place and stay at the Marlinton Motor Inn.
  • Saturday - We ride to Anthony and stay at the Greenbrier County Youth Camp.
  • Sunday Morning - Finds us riding into Organ Cave for a celebration lunch at the Community Center.
  • Parking - Trekkers may park at either Organ Cave or Snowshoe.
Shuttle transportation is provided.
