Quick Insight from East Coaster's, Russell Zellmer, who took the top spot of the podium at the Rowdy Dawg 2002: When asked why he chose the XXC over the regular cross-country, he replied, "The pro/expert (category) is too hard". Some might argue with that thought, and say that doubling your mileage in a race is too hard! However, everyone has their own cup of tea, some prefer endurance, some prefer speed!
