Rowdy Dawg 2002
Rowdy and willing on Brush Mtn
Quick Insight from East Coaster's, Russell Zellmer, who took the top spot of the podium at the Rowdy Dawg 2002: When asked why he chose the XXC over the regular cross-country, he replied, "The pro/expert (category) is too hard". Some might argue with that thought, and say that doubling your mileage in a race is too hard! However, everyone has their own cup of tea, some prefer endurance, some prefer speed!

Where: Brush Mountain in Jefferson National Forest right next to Virginia Tech University in Blacksburg, VA

A bit about the Course: There's a ferocious fireroad, technical single-track, climbs that left you wondering about the state of your lungs, and fantabulous pay-attention downhills. Yeah, it's that good.
