Lisa Wade Run
It was the 4th annual
Over 200 people came out to pay tribute to Lisa Wade Saturday in Westernport, Maryland. The support from the community and surrounding area was tremendous, with all entry fees combined to provide a Westernport High School student with a collegiate scholarship in remembrance of Lisa Wade.

Westernport is a small community, nestled in the mountains at the confluence of Georges Creek and the Potomac River. This year's race has brought many to the area for a fun race, food and evening entertainment planned. Steve Amann has organized the race from the start four years ago. He was Lisa's soccer coach and when her parents made the statement, "In four years no one will remember her", he said, "Yes they will". The Lisa Wade Memorial 5K run has something to offer everyone, a terrific area to run, meeting with old friends, entertainment and food and the contribution to a great scholarship.
