Autumn Glory
Racing for the finish
Over 150 racers crowded the starting line at the Autumn Glory 5K presented by the Oakland Mountain Lake Park Lions Club. Part of the Queen City Striders Race Series, this 5K offered awards for many different age groups. Held at beautiful Broadford Lake located in Garrett County. The park provides many recreational opportunities that include fishing, swimming, biking, canoeing, and kayaking. It's considered one of Maryland's freshwater fishing hotspots.

The fall colors were at peak, and many racers prepared for some cool, rainy fall weather. With the grand prize being a TREK mountain bike, the tough weather wasn't keeping anyone from racing on this day.
