The chase is on... again!
The weather was hot, hot, hot on Sunday, April 10. It was a spring scorcher for the WVU College of law 5K Ambulance Chase, the 3rd race of the Morgantown Area Grand Prix Series (MAGP).

All participants were baking in the sun, especially some daring law school students who got this year's race underway by chasing an ambulance down Rotary Street while wearing suits, ties and jackets. Spectators and racers watched and giggled as these law school students left a trail of papers behind them, signaling the start of the race.

It's a family affair...
Once the racers were off, they looped around the surrounding neighborhood and came back to where they had started. People of all ages took part in the race, some being very serious competitors while others just enjoyed a stroll in the nice weather to contribute to a worthy cause.

All in all, over 200 extremely hot and hungry races took part in the Ambulance Chase. At the end of the race all participants were invited to enjoy a picnic and BBQ, enjoy the weather, possibly win a door prize.

Cooking up some tasty treats
Every year the WVU College of Law Student Bar Association donates all of their 5K Ambulance Chase proceeds to the West Virginia Senior Legal Aid.

Senior Legal Aid provides free civil legal services to economically and socially needy West Virginians over age 60. The event brings in donation amounts of over $6000.
