This is the 14th anniversary of the Greater Clarksburg 10K Race, and it will once again be the WV State Championship 10K Race. This year we will feature over $10,000 in prize money, paying 4 prize categories.

The 10K will once again be the official WV 10K State Championship.

10k - if postmarked before 4/18/10 - $15
10k - If postmarked before 6/13/10 -- $20
10k - June 19, 2010 (Race Day) -- $25

KidsK (same cost, even on race day) -- $7
Team Competition - Friendly team competition is encouraged. Registration is FREE, in addition to the entry fee for each team member Team applications can be obtained by calling (304) 623-3303.

Kids K Details

For just $7.00 per child kids up to age twelve can participate in some friendly competition on a smaller scale. Registration on race day will be at the Caperton Center - Fairmont State College, Clarksburg Center. Moms, Dads, and friends ... bring your cameras! The activities will take place near the starting line on Main Street.

Kids K start time is 10:30 a.m., race day.

All participants will receive a race number, shirt, and participation award. Please read, acknowledge and sign the waiver on the application form. A separate application is required for each child.

Other Details

The Clarksburg Police Department will provide traffic control with the help of local volunteers. The entire course will be closed to traffic from 8:00 a.m. through 11:00 a.m.

Water stations will be strategically placed along the course.

Shower facilities will be available at the Washington Irving Middle School (WI Thunderdome) on Lee Street. WI is located two streets from BB&T. Additional shower facilities will be available at the Harrison County YMCA located on Lowndes Hill. Please bring your own towels and come dressed for the race.

A medical tent will be available near the finish line.

Massage will be available to runners pre and post race and will be provided by Valarie Dunlevy, a nationally certified massage therapist, and friends.
