- Race day registration will begin by 8:00 AM at the Chapel Hill UMC parking lot. Pre-registrants can also pickup their packet at that time.

- Top three male & female runners in each age group:
14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
Course
Restrooms will be available inside Chapel Hill UMC.
The course in its 2nd year is mostly level. The race will begin just below Chapel Hill UMC on Hart Ave. at the intersection of Smithfield St. Participants will proceed down Hart Ave. until making a left onto S. Florida St. and then a right onto Latham St. Another right will take participants onto Mead St. past the WV Wesleyan campus. Competitors will turn left onto Camden Ave. continuing over the railroad tracks and onto the larger loop of the Riverwalk trail. There will be a water stop at the park. Once participants return to Camden Ave, the course follows the same path back to the intersection of Hart and Smithfield. The course then takes a left onto Smithfield, a right onto East Victoria St., and a final turn onto Elm St. to complete the 3.1 mile course. The finish is directly across from the Chapel Hill UMC lower parking lot.

Relay For Life is a fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship & raise money for research & programs of your American Cancer Society. Teams of family members, friends, co-workers & others join together each year to raise funds for the American Cancer Society & make a difference in the community. In honor of those who battle cancer 24 hours a day, team members typically take turns walking the track throughout the day & night. For those not walking, there is around-the-clock action to keep everyone busy. From entertainment, food & games, to touching ceremonies & stories of inspiration, there is something for everyone at Relay For Life. Every unique Relay For Life is truly a community event, where new friends are made, old friends are hugged & hearts are touched by the magic that is Relay . . . it is an event like no other.
