    1. Run to Read Half Marathon . . . [Recap/Results/Photos]

    January 6, 2013
Prickett's Fort State Park, Fairmont, WV

Organized in 2006, this event moves to a new day (Sunday) and start time (2pm) in 2011. The course is a double out and back on 2 adjoining rail trails. The first section is 5 miles long and goes through the historic Meredith Tunnel. The race finishes on the second trail which has a crushed limestone surface. Over 245 racers finished in 2011.

    2. Run to Read 10K . . . [Results/Photos]

    July 26, 2013
    MEast-West Stadium, Fairmont, WV

First held in 2000, this race has a double loop, paved course through residential neighborhoods near Fairmont State University. It had more than 70 finishers in 2012. There will be a private post -race pool party free to runners their families next door at the 12th Street Pool.

    3. Run to Read 5K . . . [Results/Photos]

    July 26, 2013
    East-West Stadium, Fairmont, WV
That's right, the same day and location as the 10K. No worries, they are held one after other so you can run both!

Organized in 1999, this is the "granddaddy" of the Run to Read Races. The event drew more than 100 runners in 2012. The nearly flat, paved course goes around Fairmont Senior High and overlaps part of the 10K course. There will be a private post -race pool party free to runners their families next door at the 12th Street Pool.
