WHEN: Sunday, March 25, 2007. 10K Race and 5K Walk begin at 2:00 pm. Race day registration starts at 12 Noon and ends at 1:45 PM.

WHERE: Entrance to Cooper's Rock State Forest. Take the Cooper's Rock exit off I-68, 14 miles east of the South Morgantown exit of I-79 (exit 148).

COURSE: A rolling out & back course (6.2 mile Run, 3.1 mile Walk) on a traffic-free asphalt road through a mountain forest. Water will be available on the course. Split times will be given at the 1, 3.1 & 5 mile markers.

FINISH-LINE: When you're done running or walking enjoy cookies, hot soup, and hot & cold beverages. Plus portable toilets will be available.

ENTRY FEE: $Race fee is $15.00 for registrations postmarked by March 18, 2007. Fee for registrations postmarked after this date and on race day will be $18.00. Fees are not refundable. Please make checks payable to W.Va. Track Club.

FINISH: Cookies, Cookies and more Cookies, hot soup, and hot & cold beverages will be served. Portable toilets will be available.

AWARDS: Awards will be presented for the following:

  • 10K RACE --- Top three overall Male & Female finishers. Top three Male & Female finishers in each of the following age groups: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70 & Over.

  • 5K WALK --- Top five overall Male & Female finishers.
RESULTS: Computerized results provided by The Morgantown Roadrunners. A complete listing of times and places will be posted at the finish and will be available online here at iPlayOutside.com.

T-SHIRTS: Short-sleeve T-shirts are guaranteed for registrations postmarked on or before March 18, 2007. Availability of T-shirts for race day registrants is not guaranteed.
