This fast-paced run/walk goes through Philippi and ends with a fast downhill where runners run through the historic Covered Bridge. This event is held in conjunction with the Blue and Gray Civil War Commemoration. Proceeds are used to support the Character Education program at Belington Elementary School.
The Blue & Gray Reunion: On race day and during the week you can relive the year 1861, when the first land battle of the Civil War was fought. Re-enactors in Philippi, West Virginia will highlight important moments in our history. Also, Civil War campsites will be erected for the public to enjoy.
Bring the whole family to see the chili cook-off, parade, crafts, and food vendors everywhere. Area artists will have their paintings on display and the Community Education Outreach Service will host a Quilt Show. See more info. about these events at www.philippi.org/.

ENTRY FEE: Race fee is $12.00 for registrations postmarked by May 29, 2007. Fee for registrations postmarked after this date and on race day will be $15.00. Fees are not refundable. Please make checks payable to Belington Elementary School.
