20th Annual YMCA Rocky Gap Sprint Triathlon

in-person registration at the Riverside
YMCA until Friday, June 8th and on race day at
Rocky Gap from 7:00 - 8:30 AM. A $10 fee will
be charged for registration after May 31, 2007.
There will be a pre-race meeting at 8:45 AM on
race day.

THE COURSE:
- 1) The first leg of the course is approximately a quarter mile swim in Lake Habeeb, which has an average early June temperature of 70-72 degrees. Wet suits are allowed. Swim caps are required.
- 2) The second leg is approximately an 8 mile bike course. Triathletes will leave the park and complete most of the bike portion over a paved rolling country road. Helmets are required.
- 3) The final leg is a 3.1 mile run inside the park over rolling terrain on a paved road.
Entry Fees:
- $15 Kids Triathlon (15 years and under)
- $38 Open Triathlon (all ages)
- $75 Team Division (total per team)
- Please make all checks payable to "Cumberland YMCA." Send a self-addressed, stamped envelope for immediate verification of registration.
- Race subject to cancellation because of weather.
Race Day Social & Awards: After the completion of the race during the tabulation of the results, triathletes are invited to join a social gathering with snacks and drink. A ceremony to award each age group and overall winners will follow. Triathletes and their families are invited to be the guests of Rocky Gap State Park for the day.
Bike Give-Away: All participants will be eligible to win a bike valued at over $500.00. Must be present to win.
Categories & Prizes: All participants receive a short sleeved tshirt with registration. Open Triathlon Medals are presented to the second and third place winners in each age category and a plaque is presented to the first place winner in each age category.
Plaques are also presented to the overall male and female winner.
Teams (three-person teams) A plaque is presented to each team member on the first place team.
Clydesdale/Athena (Males 210+, females 160+ lbs) A plaque is presented to each first place winner in both categories.
Children All competitors receive a medallion.
