About: 2007 marks the 24th year for this annual fund raiser. The event honors the memory of Phil Foley, our beloved native from Fayette County. He set a number of track records at Geibel High School and inspired many people to get involved in the sport of running. Phil was also a member of the Penn State-Fayette Campus faculty. He owned the Athletic Attic, a sports gear shop, which had locations in Uniontown, PA and Morgantown, WV. He died of cancer at the age of 32. This event is an appropriate tribute to Phil's memory, honoring his love for education and running.
