The Course: is nearly the same as 2006 except start/finish at Camp Pioneer 4-H Camp. It is roughly 56 miles with plenty of support at the 5 check points.
Sponsors for the race include Cannondale, Athens Bicycle, Cheat Mtn Touring, Randolph County Depot, FJ Cruiser, and Custom Contracting. iPlayOutside will be there with their cameras, too.
Race classes limited to Men's and Women's Expert/Pro, Men's and Women's Sport, Single Speed Open, Masters 45+, Clydesdale, and 2 Person Teams.
Entry fee is $45, $60 for duo class (registers both riders). Packet pickup on the day before the race (Friday, 9/15) until 11pm.
Camping is free ($10 if you want a site with electric) for the weekend.
DIRECTIONS
From Elkins, WV go south on Rt 219 to Beverly. In Beverly, turn left on Files Creek Road. Travel approximately 3 miles to 4-H Camp Rd., turn right and you're there!
