BioWheels/United Dairy Farmers UCI Cyclo-Cross at Harbin Park (iPO Event Id#: 10499) Presented by BioWheels Racing

2007: [Photos] [Coverage] [Overall Results]

Sponsors
BioWheels, along with the wonderful support of United Dairy Farmers, Reece-Campbell Construction, Wyoming Steel, and MSA Architects has registered their October 14th cyclo-cross race as a UCI event, which means that elite men and women will be competing for UCI points (used in determining national and worldwide rankings) and over $4000 in cash and prizes. Last year's event brought over 165 racers from 18 states and Canada to Cincinnati. This is our fourth UCI cyclo-cross race in Cincinnati, and the 12th anniversary of cyclo-cross racing at Harbin Park!

Registration Details: Free Cowbell! Pre-registration is encouraged by going online to BikeReg.com. First 100 pre-registered riders get a free cowbell in their goody bag! Race Day Registration will be available the morning of the race beginning at 9:30am. Because race-day registration pulls valuable volunteer resources away from other important components of the race production -there will be an additional $10 day-of-registration fee this year (so again, we encourage riders to pre-register!) Race-day registration is available up to 40 minutes prior to rider's event. There is no additional $10 day-of-registration fee for junior riders. Each rider will be given one race number for the left side of their back, and two shoulder numbers, one for each shoulder . The additional shoulder numbers are becoming a requirement of UCI races because they are easier to spot by the officials.

Racing Licenses: USCF or NORBA licenses are required for all categories except UCI Elite Men and UCI Elite Women. *Valid International UCI License needed for these 2 categories. USCF one-day and annual licenses will be available for purchase at registration (not UCI licenses).

Venue and Course Description: The race is being held at the queen venue of Ohio Valley Cyclo-cross Racing: Harbin Park in Fairfield, Ohio. Fairfield is located 20 miles north of downtown Cincinnati, and Harbin Park is at 1300 Hunter Rd. At 161 rolling acres, Harbin Park features an 18 hole disc golf course, 5 miles of mountain bike trail, 2 sand beach volleyball courts, a 15 ft wide mowed nature trail, a big sledding hill with a view, and lots and lots of mowed grass. Cyclo-cross races have been held at Harbin Park for 10 years now, and with the hard clay soil underneath the grass, the ground is packed smooth and fast! Dogs are welcome in the park.
