FRIDAY PASTA
- 6:00 - 7:30 pm at the WVU Health Sciences Center Cafeteria
- All participants are invited to the pasta dinner, which is included in the entry fee. Friends and family are also welcome.
- The cost for non-race participants is $7.
- Everyone who attends the dinner will be eligible for door prizes.

- 5K course is a rolling, two-loop course with one water stop and mile split times

AWARDS & PRIZES
A variety of prizes will be awarded at the end of the races. Participants must be present to win. No duplication of prizes. Unclaimed prize money will be donated to the Rosenbaum Memorial Fund. Prizes will only be awarded to those who are registered.
5K Run Overalls -- The top three male and female finishers will receive the following cash prizes:
First place, $150 * Second place, $100 * Third place, $50
* 5K Run Bonus * There will be $100 prize for setting a new men's or women's course record. The current men's record is 15:11; women's, 16:57.
5K Run Age Group Winners -- Age group categories include: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70
Employees -- Top three male and female finishers in the 5K run who work for WVUH, UHA or WVU Health Sciences will receive prizes.
5K Walk -- Top three male and female finishers will receive prizes. This is not an officially judged race walk; however, no running is allowed.

There will be three kids races + two short-distance races for younger kids and a 1K for older kids. Participation in these races is free. Parents must register their children on race morning.
General
To ensure your safety, no dogs, baby strollers or headphones are allowed. This is in accordance with Road Runner Club of America guidelines. WVU students can earn two hours of volunteer credit by participating in the race. Volunteer hour credit forms will be available at the registration table on race day.
To Benefit // The Richard Rosenbaum Memorial Fund
The September Stride benefits the Richard Rosenbaum Memorial Fund, which provides medication and equipment to children with cystic fibrosis and other pulmonary problems. Richard "Rick" Rosenbaum, who was treated for cystic fibrosis at WVU since birth, died at age 36 in 1995. He was a dedicated advocate for children's programs associated with the hospital. Rick was a local businessman and good friend to many of the organizers of this event. His family is responsible for creating the fund. If you'd like to make an additional donation to the Richard Rosenbaum Memorial Fund, please include your contribution with your entry fee.
* This is the last 2010 Morgantown Area Grand Prix Series Event *
The Morgantown Area Grand Prix (MAGP) is open to runners only, but walkers can participate in listed races. The series helps local charitable and community service organizations and causes.
