Toys for Tots 5K Run & Walk
The Race has been rescheduled!
Toy collection containers will be available for new, unwrapped toys to kick off the annual toys for tots collection.
Face painting will be available for children as well as other activities in the works. All proceeds benefit the Morgantown, Preston, and Marion County area Toys for Tots program.
- 11:00 am - 5K Run & Walk starts
- 12:00 noon - Youth Fun Run starts (awards go to all kids who participate)
- Starts/Ends at Hazel Ruby McQuain Amphitheatre on the riverfront
- Prizes awarded for specified age groups in the run, plus some walk awards
- Refreshments will be provided

- All registrations postmarked prior to October 20 will receive a race t-shirt.
- $10 (postmarked prior to October 15) . . . $15 thereafter.
- LATE registration is on race day is from 9:45 am to 10:45 am. Everyone must be registered by 10:45 am, and availability of shirts is not guaranteed on race day.
Awards

RUN . . . Top three overall male and female running finishers as well as the top three male and female running finishers in each of the following age groups: 14 and under; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-65; and 65 and over.
WALK . . . Top three overall males and females.
YOUTH FUN RUN . . . All participants will receive awards!
Course
Run or walk on the flat paved, Decker's Creek trail course. The race leaves the waterfront area and heads up along the Decker's Creek portion of the rail trail toward Marilla Park and Pool with a mid-point turnaround, then returning at the depot station at Hazel Ruby McQuain Park. In addition to the 5K walk and run, a 1/2 mile youth fun run with take place.
