This race welcomes runners and walkers alike with several race options. The courses take full advantage of all of the beautiful autumn foliage and offer spectacular views of the river and the historic town of Thurmond.

Regardless of whether you are in it for the competition or for a leisurely stroll, you will enjoy every step of the trek through some of the greatest scenery West Virginia has to offer.

The inaugural Gorge-ous Trail Run Culinary Classic will feature entries that focus on healthy energy foods needed by competitors engaged in adventure activities. Traditionally, energy foods are the staple for competitors in such sports as marathons, triathlons, cycling events and trail runs.

With the 9th annual ACE Gorge-ous Trail Run as the backdrop, ACE invites competitors and non-competitors to submit their favorite energy food in the first of its kind competition in West Virginia. Prizes include 1st, 2nd and 3rd ribbons in all categories, a People's Choice Award and adventure trips from the event host, ACE Adventure Resort.
