Friends of Deckers Creek (FODC) is changing things up for our annual Fall fundraising event. For the first time, we are hosting this 10K Event!! The Deckers Dash is replacing our traditional Deckers Creek Adventure Race.

- $25 through Sept 27, 2013
- $30 thereafter & day of race.
- Race starts at 8am.
- This years race shirts are 100% Recycled and Made in the USA. A hybrid shirt from SustainU is made of 50% recycled cotton fiber and 50% recycled polyester, fabric scraps and plastic bottles.
Course
The race will start and end at Hazel Ruby McQuain Riverfront Park, go along the Deckers Creek Rail-Trail and on a path through FODCs Outdoor Learning Park in Sabraton. The trail is asphalt, and the path is packed limestone. There will be 2 water stops along way.
NEW West Virginia Water Festival!!!
After the race, we invite you to stay for Morgantown's first West Virginia Water Festival from 11a - 4p. FODC, along with BOPARC and the Morgantown History Museum/Flatboat Project, is hosting the event at Hazel Ruby McQuain Riverfront Park. The Water Festival will be an opportunity for the community to participate in fun, hands-on, educational activities on a variety of topics all dealing with water - from water quality and watershed issues to recreation, history and commerce. There's no WVU football game that day, so nothing to keep you from coming on down. Stay tuned for details!
